HP Pavilion Wave

On January 31, 2017 announced HP the beginning of sales in Russia of the new HP Pavilion Wave PC with unusual design. The device has the trihedral form with the rounded corners. The computer case has compact dimensions and, according to the estimates of HP, takes 85% less places, than the PC in a traditional form factor. Its sizes  — 17.29 x 16.81 x 26.13 cm.

NR say that again invented the system unit

Today users of the desktop systems are ready to pass from the traditional large body to esthetically more interesting design — Alexey Pokrovsky, the manager of category of consumer PCs, HP in Russia says. — HP Pavilion Wave became result of efforts of engineers and designers of NR who again invented the system unit. They changed its form, the size and appearance, at the same time they managed not only to save computing opportunities of full-size devices, but also to add new features.

In triangular design three main zones of components are selected: on the one hand the motherboard, with another – the hard drive, with the third – the cooling system.

One of the main features of the device developers call existence in it of the integrated audio system. Outside the computer case will be enveloped acoustic fabric, and under "plate" - the built-in loudspeaker with a possibility of polydirectional sound reflection by 360 degrees is the reflector in the center.

It is not required to connect the audio system to the new PC

HP Pavilion Wave computers are completed with the quad-core Intel processors Core i3 and Core i5 of the sixth generation, storage systems of 1 TB of (HDD), 2 TB (HDD) or 128 GB (SSD) and RAM up to 8 GB (DDR4). All models are equipped with the discrete graphic Radeon R9 M470 AMD card.

For connection of peripheral devices three ports USB 3.0, one port USB 3.1 Type-C for data transmission, one port HDMI, one DisplayPort, Gigabit Ethernet and the connector for the microphone and earphones are provided. It is possible to connect to the computer two 4K monitor.

The device supports the assistant to Cortana with two double microphones providing voice communication with the PC. However, at the time of the beginning of sales of Cortana it is unavailable in Russian.

The computer is developed for entertainments and home use

HP Pavilion Wave in Russia is available to acquisition at the authorized partners. Designated its starting price by HP in 64.99 thousand rubles. On Yandex.Market in day of the official beginning of sales in Russia offers from 52 thousand rubles to 89.99 thousand rubles are available.

The global announcement of the device took place in September, 2016. Then sales of HP Pavilion Wave in the USA began.
