On January 30, 2017 the Navicon system integrator announced completion of implementation of own solution Navicon SalesOut Cloud in Russian Sea company.

Project Progress

The first stage of the project was completed in short terms — in three months Russian Sea company and one of her distributors was connected to a cloud solution of Navicon SalesOut. For reduction of data from different sources to a uniform format and management of reference books the module ETL Rabbit which is also developed in Navicon was used.

Navicon SalesOut integrated with the systems of distributors transfers information on a daily basis to uniform storage. All data undergo verification process and cleanings (the addresses, the nomenclature and so forth) that excludes duplication of data when reporting and simplifies interaction of the different accounting systems. As a result of the pilot, at automatic analysis of the addresses of outlets according to the Federal Information Address System (KLADR) the Navicon SalesOut system could recognize more than 76% of the addresses automatically.

The business application unrolled in Microsoft Azure cloud automates loading processes, cleanings and systematization of data on secondary sales through distributors of "The Russian sea".

"Because of the long procedure of check, adjustment and approval of data on sales between the producer and his distributors inevitably there are delays in business processes. This problem concerns all large companies working in the food industry. If process of receiving and data analysis from distributors is not automated, there is no opportunity to react quickly to changes in the market, to calculate KPI. The steady trend of transition to cloud solutions and decrease in influence of a human factor was outlined in the industry — the cloud analysis saves to the enterprise time and money, and the most important — allows to make quickly justified management decisions, planning production and deliveries of products".

"The project in the company "Russian sea' is very important for us. We already implemented the solution Navicon SalesOut in many large pharmaceutical companies, and now we broaden the sphere of its use on other industries with similar business processes — in particular, production of mass market products, wholesale and the food industry. Besides, this first large deployment of Navicon SalesOut in a cloud that, in our opinion, is today the most economic and convenient delivery pattern of the software and IT services to business users. After a successful completion of a pilot project the decision to continue cooperation and to connect all distributors of the customer to a system was made. The end of this process is planned for the fourth quarter 2017".
