"Intellectual video surveillance" earned in Mordovia

Rostelecom completed at the end of 2016 the works on creation of a subsystem "Intellectual Video Surveillance" (IVS) in the Republic of Mordovia. For construction of IVN more than 45 km of the communication fiber lines (CFL) were laid, delivery, installation and setup of boundaries of video surveillance is provided, commissioning for start is carried out to commercial operation. 120 boundaries of video surveillance consisting of 464 IP cameras for survey and situational video surveillance and also 5 boundaries of biometric control from 12 IP cameras are set.

The cameras IVN are mounted in territories of universities and in popular entertaining vacation spots (restaurants, cafe, night clubs), at the airport, on central squares and squares, on / d-vokzale Ruzaevka and 10 bus stations of the cities and large district localities of the republic. All video flow on organized high-speed link 10G is consolidated and stored within 30 days in a system core which is placed on the areas of "An information complex" in Saransk. Access to IVN is provided to police officers and other special departments which monitor video signal in real time. Serviceability check of video cameras and a subsystem is performed by the staff of Rostelecom.

The IVN intellectual program allows to distinguish and identify persons, to fix the left objects, also naked flame, but also reacts to atypical or aggressive behavior of people not only on smoke. Thus, the situation in the republic is controlled round the clock that allows to open and prevent offenses quickly. For example, using IVN only for January, 2017 it was succeeded to open six offenses, specified in Rostelecom.

According to the director of the branch of Rostelecom in the Republic of Mordovia Igor Wolfson, "Intellectual video surveillance" will promote decrease in quantity of non-staff situations and will make the republic of safer. Implementation of this technological solution expanded functions of the "Intellectual safe region" which is already existing in the republic.

Rostelecom created a subsystem "Intellectual video surveillance" on the basis of the signed public contract on construction of the first stage of a system of security of life activity "The intellectual safe region" in the Republic of Mordovia. Earlier within this contract the company implemented in the territory of the republic a subsystem "Fotovideofiksation of traffic offenses", consisting of 118 boundaries of photovideo fixing which are set on especially dangerous sections of roads of the republic. Both subsystems are based on a single information platform for the purpose of ensuring technical support of services of public security.
