In Almazergienbank the web project management system is used

In 2014 the Bank board makes the decision to change approach to management of programs Almazergienbank of development and to implement project management. Changes began with a strategic session based on which the decision on creation of new division of bank – Project office was made.

All key staff of bank underwent compulsory education of methodology of project management and mastered MS Project.

However, use of local plans of projects did not give to the guide of bank of a relevant picture to a portfolio projects status.

System Selection

• Eventually it became obvious that the project management information system is necessary for bank for growth of efficiency of project implementation.
• Functionally a system had to provide:
• Project planning and appointment of contractors;
• Control of accomplishment of programs of development in real time, with an opportunity to go deep to the level of tasks;
• Formation of the multilevel reporting: for project managers, for project office, for top management;
• Planning and control of project budgets;
• Risk management and changes in projects;
• Setting and control of accomplishment of instructions of top management.

Results of implementation of Advanta in bank

• In three months after an implementation project the head of project office designated the following achieved project deliverables. The bank received:
• The system of the centralized control of key indicators of projects (terms, budgets);
• The general platform of discussion of projects for the operational solution of working questions;
• The uniform knowledge base on projects;
• Monitoring system of projects on control points for the detailed analysis of a situation in the project;
• System of holding correspondence/remote meetings on projects.
• First of all the Bank board needed to provide quick access to the summary reporting under projects. For this purpose all projects were brought in a system, the reporting is created and output to the home page of the top management.
