Implementation of the module for automation of work with the tender documentation

On September 13, 2018 CORUS Consulting Group announced implementation of the specialized module for automation of work with the tender documentation in Borets production company. Completion is implemented on the Microsoft SharePoint 2016 platform.

Project Tasks

The management of production company faced a problem of big labor costs of personnel on processing of the tender documentation: it is necessary to split up manually the tables Excel with the large volume of data and to send them to assessment and study to several departments at the same time.

For reduction of routine processes the decision on automation of tender work based on KORUS|the solution "Document flow" on the Microsoft SharePoint 2016 platform was made.

Project Results

The functionality of the module of preparation of the tender documentation allows to keep track on a centralized basis of the statuses of accomplishment of tasks of filling of tender specifications with different divisions of Borets company, to quickly prepare technical proposals at the expense of a possibility of joint development and editing the tender documentation by different participants of process. In addition heads can trace the history of the changes entered into the system, control version control of the prepared documents, quickly browse the status of processing of the tender documentation that allows to manage more flexibly process of preparation of final documents and to avoid loss of large volumes of data.

As we work in the oil-extracting industry, it is extremely important to automate mechanisms of processing of the tender documentation at the level of internal processes and to minimize, thus, influence of a human factor on a possibility of assumption of errors. The module to the solution based on Microsoft SharePoint 2016 noticeably increased quality and speed of approval and allowed to trace the change history according to documentation that is crucial in work with data bulk.

2017: Implementing solution for control of product output on the market

On February 3, 2017 the Corus Consulting company announced implementation of the specialized solution for control of product output on the market in Borets production company. The system implemented based on Microsoft SharePoint mentions all stages of product lifecycle management — from the idea before production development.

Project Tasks

To systematize product development process and to make it convenient for employees, both at head office, and on production, the company management Fighter made the decision on its automation. For implementation of this task the Microsoft SharePoint platform was selected. Prior to the beginning of the project only one of production process components – submission of the request by the client was automated, other transactions were executed "manually".

Project Results

The product lifecycle management system (PLM system) created by specialists of Corus Consulting allows to create calendar and not schedules of product development and the schedule of its izgotovleniye and tests, to create feasibility statements according to the entered data and also to plan financial expenses by articles of direct costs (by data about cost value and profit) and labor costs depending on project stages. Thus, the solution completely covers all planning process of engineering development and modifications of a product line in Borets company.

Within design-technology preparation of production – a stage which follows after making decision on product development the separate web page under the project where control points automatically form is created. Their quantity and structure depend on type of the project of development or modification of the selected product which may contain such stages as creation of design documentation, carrying out bench and industrial tests, setting on production.

Passing of each control point is confirmed by approval in a system, i.e. any corrections can be made to the project, having only created the change request. The solution allows to return on any stage of the project, irrespective of a current status (for example, for completion of the project documentation based on bench tests), but at the same time does not allow the admission of any control point provided by the project plan. In addition in a system the module of accounting of labor costs on each employee who will allow to keep account of actually spent working time by projects and control points on hours is supposed and also to consider loading of employees on interproject works.

The solution gives the chance to top managers of Borets company quickly to obtain data on the statuses on all current projects: a system informs on planned and actual budgets, on planned and actual dates of passing of control points. In addition managers of department of management of a product line can control all overdue tasks of approval and execution within project activity and to control a production process.
