2017: Smart Sync for business market
On February 3, 2017 the Dropbox company announced readiness of Smart Sync technology (Project Infinite) for use in corporate environment.

As the press service of developer stated, Smart Sync is intended for the companies which pay for use of service depending on the number of employees. Users of service can browse and get access to all the files which are stored both in a cloud, and on the computer. Service is cross-platform, maintains backward compatibility that ensures functioning on all devices and operating systems[1].
For February 3, 2017 Smart Sync (within the program of early access) is offered to all subscribers of Dropbox Business and Enterprise.
