At the beginning of 2017 Ivanti provided Ivanti License Optimizer. It is the SAM tool (software asset management) which will provide visibility of licenses at the enterprise, including complex systems of licensing for any producers, platforms, license agreements. License Opitimizer will serve as an additional product to already existing solution from Ivanti IT Asset Management Suite which allows to make inventory of the IT park, to build workflows between them, to construct lifecycle of an IT asset.
The product Ivanti License Optimizer helps IT assets managers to trace even the most difficult server software, including software from Oracle, Microsoft, VMware and IBM. It is rather difficult to trace these products, owing to temporary licenses for physical or virtual machines, difficulties of license agreements and also the frequency of change of license terms and conditions.
Ivanti License Optimizer allows to provide the company with all necessary information for minimization of costs, reduction of risk of audit and also to redistribute the saved-up investments into other IT projects where earlier the company could not allocate funds.
