The Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation completed upgrade of the coordination center

On February 13, 2017 announced Federal State Unitary Enterprise ProtectionInfoTrans the project of upgrade of the coordination center of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation by request of department. The contractor in the project Technoserv company.

Project Tasks

The coordination center is intended for analytical and information support of processes of management of a transport complex, decision making at threats of occurrence of extreme situations, in the conditions of their approach, mitigation of consequences, in daily activity.

Ensuring transport security is a difficult, multi-stage process in which implementation the different ministries, departments, subjects of transport infrastructure and also the technology companies are involved. The coordination center is the central link of this process. In its walls the round-the-clock coordination of efforts on prevention and assistance at occurrence of extreme situations on transport is performed. The value of the Center, and as a result it is difficult to revaluate importance of its full-scale and correct functioning, stability of communication with all systems and departments. For example, in connection with the last accident over the Black Sea the Coordination center of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation was connected to National Center for Crisis Management of Emercom of Russia for joint interaction between departments during search transaction. The CC of Ministry of Transport consists of a number of the subsystems which are a complex of the program technical means ensuring its functioning: subsystem of interaction, data protection, video display and visualization, video audio-conference communication and scoring. Key - an interaction subsystem. It provides communication of CC with information systems: Single state information system of ensuring transport security (EGIS OTB), System of collecting of results of technical monitoring and control of objects of transport infrastructure (CC Pipe Metallurgic Company), possibility of interface to other information systems. As the Center collection of information, its processing and visualization, carrying out and documentation of meetings, and data storage enters.

In 2015 need for reconstruction of the building, and then and completion of the Coordination center under the changed premises parameters ripened.

Project Progress

Within the project Federal State Unitary Enterprise ProtectionInfoTrans and Technoserv provided functioning of all subsystems of CC of Ministry of Transport in the prepared Center hall.

In the hall means of audio-video of conference communication based on the equipment of Polycom, a congress production system of SHURE (DIS), the videowall from 16 LDC NEC MultiSync panels, means of scoring and audio-video of switching Kramer are mounted. Management of video display is implemented using Crestron technologies. Jobs for responsible persons of CC of Ministry of Transport are created. Works on creation of an engineering and server framework, storage system are performed.

Project Results

Ensuring functioning of the Coordination center of the Ministry of Transport is a difficult and responsible task. ProtectionInfoTrans and Technoserv proved a tandem even at initial design and creation of the Center before reconstruction of the building. Thus, the new project on upgrade of the Coordination center became organic continuation of our effective cooperation. In total in a month we executed the full stroke of works which included placement, installation, a commissioning of the equipment and carrying out verification tests.
