On February 13, 2017 the United Instrument Manufacturing Corporation announced delivery of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the first batch of servers on Elbrus processors in number of 300 units.
Project Results
Servers are used for creation of data centers with the increased data protection level from leaks and cracking.
Servers are switched on in infrastructure of migration services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs that is stipulated by the order of the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications. Supply of equipment is executed as a part of the project of upgrade of service of passport and visa control[1].
Software packages and services, software of database servers, storage systems, application servers, Web servers, means of backup and monitoring, means of the IP telephony, service of technical support and others are postponed for these servers.
Servers are installed in data centers of a federal information system of biometric accounting and operational search data of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
