2017: Field Device Manager became official a host system
On February 13, 2017 the Honeywell corporation announced registration of the solution Field Device Manager (FDM) as the FieldComm Group company which is officially registered a host system, working under the industrial HART protocol.
FDM, the relevant HART, provides integration of products of different vendors into a single system of management for remote setup and operation on industrial enterprises of "smart" field devices that simplifies their service, saves time and means, allows to avoid a set of errors.
