For February 22, 2017 Harman-TeamViewer IoT software technology - specialized IoT-technology in which the management system for smart buildings and the HARMAN IoT-controller are combined with the leading products TeamViewer for remote monitoring and management.
On February 21, 2017 the TeamViewer company announced cooperation with Harman. The companies jointly will submit the specialized IoT-solution.
With its help maintenance specialists and operation managers will be able to carry out continuous condition monitoring of the IoT-controller using TeamViewer. Its status will be displayed on a dashboard in a management system for smart buildings of HARMAN, and additional data will be available on own detailed panel of monitoring TeamViewer.
The solution will allow to trace crucial information from different sensors, to conduct monitoring of sensors and controllers. Maintenance experts and operation managers will receive notifications on a status of sensors, including on problems with connection or battery power supply. Also they will have an access to the controller for remote installation of updates or troubleshooting. Access will be provided via the web interface of the controller.
