NEC and National Library of Russia signed the Memorandum of understanding

On February 28, 2017 JSC NEK Neva Kommunikatsionnye Sistemy (NEC Neva), NEC Corporation subsidiary company and federal state budgetary Institution National Library of Russia (Federal State Budgetary Institution RNB) signed the Memorandum of understanding fixing intention of the parties to cooperate in the field of development of IT systems for libraries. 15799 The Purpose of the memorandum is upgrade of the library systems, including management systems for library, security systems and communications systems. In the document which was signed by the CEO of JSC NEK Neva Kommunikatsionnye Sistemy Akihiro Sakurai and the CEO of Federal State Budgetary Institution RNB Alexander Ivanovich Visly, the parties expressed the intention to conduct joint surveys and expert consultations on the organization and implementation of library IT systems and also to hold seminars and rates for employees on management of these systems.
