Functional characteristics

The Tsirkon-Reserve PC is intended for creation of a failover cluster (a cluster of high availability) and accomplishment of backup and recovery of information.

The software package consists of the following components:

• service which is responsible for a clustering and interaction between notes, quorum;
• service of a resource manager of a cluster which is engaged in adding, monitoring and management of groups of resources of a cluster;
• network client-server program for backup, archiving and recovery of information. Has opportunities for management of data warehouses, on search and recovery of the lost or damaged files;
• the graphic web interface for server control of backup via the browser.

System Requirements Functioning of the Zircon reserve PC requires accomplishment of the following system requirements.

The following software tools are necessary for functioning of the Zircon reserve PC:

• the operating system is not lower than CentOS 6 (6.5 is not younger);
• DBMS is not lower than PostgreSQL 9.3;
• Web browser.

For functioning of the Zircon reserve PC technical means with characteristics not below the following are required:

• a hardware platform - the processor with architecture of x86-64 (AMD, Intel) with clock rate from 2.4 MHz;
• RAM - from 2 GB;
• the volume of free disk space - from 4 GB;
• reading device CD/DVD disks;
• standard SVGA monitor.

Installation and operation of the Zircon reserve PC

For installation and operation of the Zircon reserve PC it is necessary to use a set of operational documents, provided by the owner together with a software distribution kit after acquisition of the rights to use the software (license).
