For March 1, 2017 Collaboration Mobile Convergence (CMC) is technology for joint work by means of mobile devices.

On February 26, 2017 the companies Cisco also Ericsson presented the joint solution Collaboration Mobile Convergence (CMC) which integrated developments of the companies — the platform of joint work Cisco and the communication solutions Ericsson VoLTE.

CMC gives to service providers the chance to provide mobile services for joint work. The Cisco Spark functions are available to users:

  • transmission of messages,
  • direct (in-line) file sharing,
  • video conferences in the mode of high resolution using different devices.

All functions are activated by a call on the mobile number. For seamless readdressing of calls between devices, including Cisco Spark Board, it is enough to run a finger over the screen.

Voice service of phone will provide voice transmission, and the Cisco Spark application is functionality of joint work.

Means of a mobile network execute seamless transfer of voice calls for access 2G, 3G, by LTE and Wi-Fi.

Solution CMC will give to service providers the chance to provide the differentiated services.

      • the ready-made solution - functions on any EPC platform (Evolved Packet Core), including the platforms Cisco, Ericsson and other vendors.

Solution CMC gives to the enterprises the chance to apply approved policy to all calls, both mobile, and fixed. It provides uniform billing and non-charge calls in network. The enterprises can control the joint work performed using mobile phones, reducing costs and increasing productivity.

The solution will be available to service providers and corporate customers by the end of calendar 2017.
