2023: Completion of rebranding
In February 2023, work on the global rebranding of the Doosan direction was officially completed, the brand acquired the trade name Develon. The name of Hyundai Doosan Infracore Co. itself was changed to HD Hyundai Infracore, which became known in March 2023.[1]
According to the company, the process of forming a new brand began back in August 2021 after the sale of Doosan Infracore to HD Hyundai (formerly Hyundai Heavy Industries Holdings Co. HHIH). According to official information from representatives of the company, the name Develop was chosen "to convey the company's desire to develop and implement innovative solutions in the construction equipment industry through technological transformations and the development of exceptional equipment and services."
The company's efforts will also be aimed at promoting sustainable development through the use of alternative energy sources for construction equipment.[2]
2021: Hyundai Heavy Industries Holdings holding acquisition
On August nineteenth, 2021, the deal to buy Hyundai Heavy Industries Holdings (HHIH) closed. of Doosan Infracore (DI). As a result, Doosan Infracore became a branch of the newly created Hyundai Genuine (HG) group, where, along with Hyundai Construction Equipment (HCE), it acts as an independent manufacturer of construction equipment as part of the HHIH holding.
HG acts as an intermediate company focused on the construction equipment business of the HHIH group and directs DI and HCE to maximize and focus the company's overall efforts in the construction equipment industry.[3]

As of March 2, 2017, Doosan Infracore operated in the production of municipal, construction equipment, engines, various additional equipment and equipment.
