Doosan Infracore completed implementation of platform 3DExperience

On March 2, 2017 the Dassault Systèmes company announced implementation of platform 3DEXPERIENCE in IT infrastructure of Doosan Infracore company.

Project Progress

In 2012 the Doosan Infracore company started strategy implementation of increase in business and technical competitiveness of the construction equipment, commercial engines and machines. After studying of the tasks connected with quality improvement of products, optimization of delivery and cost management in scales of all the chain of value creation, and after the analysis of the solutions presented at the market, the Doosan Infracore company selected Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE and less than in two years implemented the platform.

Project Results

The industry solutions of "Single Source for Speed", "Simple Solution Selection" and "Ready to Make" created on platform 3DEXPERIENCE provide to Doosan Infracore access to virtual applications for cost management, quality improvement of products at 13 plants, 4 research and development centers, in 46 departments and sales offices worldwide.

The platform created conditions for interaction and joint work more than 1.8 thousand designers, engineers, the staff of marketing departments and sales in Doosan Infracore. A system provides secure access in real time to the most up-to-date browsed design, engineering and production data.

Doosan Infracore had an opportunity of complex design of reliable and qualitative products, providing to customers different offers from the extensive product portfolio. The company reduced quantity of elements and simplified transactions for the most effective production of products on the production sites.

For achievement of our purpose to learn to project and make products worldwide ("design anywhere build anywhere") we needed the directive and team centralized approach at which priorities would be allocated for business processes. The Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE platform is the most appropriate solution for implementation of this strategy in terms of functionality, performance and level of support. Platform 3DEXPERIENCE allowed Doosan Infracore to perform transformation of business and to raise the interoperability layer between the divisions. Doosan Infracore will be able already to make at early design stages changes to construction, to manage different specifications of components within uniform process and to perform virtual testing and modeling at design stages and productions for minimization of errors and completions.
