Huawei CloudMetro

For March 2, 2017 CloudMetro is technology of support of digital transformation. It is focused on providers of network services.

On March 2, 2017 the Huawei company presented the solution CloudMetro. As the company stated, this technology will allow to use cloud computing on the metropolitan area networks and promotes consolidation of resources, adaptivity of services, automation of transactions and creation of open platforms^[1].

Only metropolitan area networks capable to make fast integration, effectively to perform transactions and having open network capabilities, can offer new services, and the cloud computing architecture is for this purpose necessary. The solution CloudMetro is the system for business development created taking into account future perspectives. It consists of two parts: a network cloud module at the top level (network cloud engine (NCE)) and complex (E2E) of basic network with a possibility of segmentation. CloudMetro transfers managerial and service functions to a network cloud module (NCE), creating the functionality for provision of services "on demand" organized by the principle of LEGO: it is possible to make a huge set of services of separate standard options. Entering the chains of service functions allowing to select and implement service functions "on demand" architecture reduces costs for testing and reduces an implementation time.

Standard server interfaces are open for third-party developers.
