2019: LU600
On September 10, 2019 the LiveU company announced a release of the solution LU600 5G for ensuring broadcasts of news and sports events. The device combines operation of the modems integrated by a 5G and high efficiency antennas and also uses a dominant technology of LiveU in the telecasting industry - 4K HEVC. Taking into account fast distribution of 5G networks in the world, LiveU can propose to the clients the powerful and effective solution of LU600 5G providing steady capacity and reliable connection when carrying out forward translations using networks of the next generation of a 5G.
Our solution LU600 5G with the modems integrated by a 5G fully uses advantages of higher speed and steady capacity of 5G networks, Samuel Wasserman, the CEO and one of founders of LiveU company said |
With LU600 5G clients will be able to use all opportunities of 5G networks, including the smallest delay, high quality and permission of video and also fast loading of files even in the most overloaded networks. The ultralow delay provided with 5G networks is especially important for 4K of broadcastings in industry sport. Steady and reliable connection remains also in the absence of 5G networks, for example in rural areas or remote locations, due to automatic connection of the LU600 5G device to other available cellular transmission networks 3G/4G/5G.
Testing of a 5G of solutions always takes place in dense cooperation with world cellular operators, Samuel Wasserman added |
In the USA LiveU companies and AT&T combined the efforts for ensuring forward translations of news and sporting events, testing solutions using a 5G of networks. Using LiveU devices the airs from games of Summer league NBA were carried out. In other countries of LiveU also participates in testing of a 5G of networks with telecom operators, such as Italian Vodafone and South Korean KT Corporation. In South Korea the solutions LiveU provided broadcastings from a concert of classical music with assistance of the SK Telecom cellular operator. There are no doubts that videoprodakshen will change together with distribution of standard 5G worldwide.
Cellular communication considerably replaces satellite when carrying out news broadcastings. With 5G opportunities the potential of cellular communication becomes even more for carrying out high-quality forward translations of both news, and sports events of any scale, Samuel Wasserman summarized |
2017: LU200, LU210 и LU220
On March 1, 2017 the LiveU company submitted hybrid HD solutions - compact LU200, LU210 and LU220 encoders.
Use of the patented technology of a bonding LiveU allow news commands to effectively use LU210 and LU220 devices for live broadcasts during the movement or in places of permanent basing.
- LU210 is the single-channel encoder of rack execution.
- LU220 the body contains two independent encoders that allows to code video from two different sources at the same time.
Both encoders can be connected to the LiveU Xtender antenna and Ka-Sat IP modems that provides fault tolerance in difficult conditions. Encoders provide transfer of content from remote places, loading of content on internal and cross-channel (on the necessary number of canals at the same time) service of video transmission LiveU MultiPoint.
Properties
- high-quality video using the LiveU LRT protocol (LiveU Reliable Transport);
- local or remote control using the LiveU Central system;
- bonding – automatic control of capacity of satellite and cellular connection;
- high performance.
We observe the growing trend of transformation of PTS from classical in hybrid and also use of more compact cars for problems of mobile transfer of news. Our new devices combine reliability, universality and compactness together with profitability. Broadcasters can achieve availability of services and quality of video from any place.
