For March 6, 2017 EBTZ1041-SK-A1 is a set for creation of the wearable devices processing signals from several sensors, as a part of which component parts and the software.
On March 6, 2017 the Toshiba Electronics Europe (TEE) company provided starting EBTZ1041-SK-A1 set. It supports creation of prototypes of the wearable systems of Internet of Things with a high integration scale on the basis of processors of Toshiba of the TZ1000 ApP Lite family for IoT devices.
As a part of set original applied processor of "hub of sensors" TZ1041MBG. This processor is created on the basis of the 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4F processor and serves as the hub for collecting, processing and data storage from several sources. He transfers the initial or processed data to external devices - smartphones or tablets, using the built-in function of wireless data exchange of Bluetooth.
The evaluation board EBTZ1041-SK-A1 integrates the TZ1041MBG and Arduino UNO R3 processor - the compatible connector for connection to serially released expansion cards Arduino. In addition to the built-in Bluetooth the separate connector for connection of the single-crystal Toshiba TC32306 radio transceiver allows to implement wireless data exchange in frequency ranges below 1 GHz. At standard execution at a payment there is an interface of the debugger CMSIS-DAP. For connection of alternative debuggers it is possible to use the SWD connector which is available on a payment with 9 outputs.
Toshiba TZ1041MBG provides connection of peripheral devices and sensors, for example MEMS-sensors, such as atmospheric pressure sensors and humidity, by means of the different built-in interfaces (USB, UART, SPI, I2C) and through 12-bit ATsP. Other external sensors can directly be connected to three input channels 24-bit sigma delta of ATsP of the high resolution integrated into the device. It allows to measure biomedical signals precisely: pulse rate and electrocardiograms.
Collecting and data processing are executed by the high-performance ARM Cortex-M4F processor with instructions of digital signal processing and the block of transactions with a floating point. The processor supports 288 CBs of RAM of SRAM and 1 MB a flash memory of NOR type for storage of a program code and data. The built-in controller and the radio-frequency module Bluetooth provide transfer of the initial and processed data to the external equipment.
As a part of a series of products of Toshiba of the TZ1011MBG, TZ1031MBG and TZ1021MBG device. The first two have the built-in accelerometer and a gyroscope, and TZ1011 contains the magnetometer. The last device does not contain the built-in sensors and has no BLE functions.
In addition to the equipment from starting set developers of wearable devices can use program algorithms of Toshiba for TZ1000 series. They turn on algorithms of monitoring of physical activity, registration of photoplethysmograms and electrocardiograms.
The starting Toshiba EBTZ1041-SK-A1 set is available to the order.
