Mediadata LLC confirmed in the fall of 2017 compliance of the business processes to the organizational technical requirements and assessment procedures of information security of the payment cards given to the industry stated in version 3.2 of the PCI DSS standard (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard).

Services of placement of the equipment in DPC of Ostankino

On March 14 the Mediadata company announced official opening of the Data processing center of Ostankino calculated on 1400 with firmness - places. Two server halls on 170 racks of each, 2 cross halls (meet-me-room), office spaces for work of personnel of Mediadata company and backup offices for IT specialists of clients are put into operation. Until the end of 2017 2 more halls on 170 racks will be put into operation. By the end of 2018 according to the plan of an object it will be displaid at full capacity.

The DPC is located on section of 1 hectare in the territory of the Television Technical center "Ostankino". The external perimeter of the territory is protected by police. The territory and internal premises are equipped with the systems of security television and video registration. The control and management system for access of DPC prevents unauthorized penetration of strangers.

Engineering infrastructure of DPC is designed using classical technologies with opportunities of expansion to 8 server halls on 170 racks and 4 cross halls on 10 racks. Project power supply and cold supply are expected the average power of 6 kW on a rack. The total electric power brought to an object is 15 MW. Power supply is performed on four independent inputs connected to different urban distribution substations. Regular redundant power supply of racks is performed on two independent buslines.

Climatic parameters in server halls conform to requirements of ASHRAE that is provided with the redundant systems of cold supply consisting of chillers (N+N) with functions of freecooling, pipeline systems and latches (N+N) and hydroaccumulator tanks. The systems of precision conditioners (N+1) installed in halls allow to maintain the necessary temperature and humidity with a high accuracy. The fire safety is ensured by the system of early detection of adverse changes of molecular composition of air in DPC "VESDA Laser Line" and the fire extinguishing system using Novec gas, harmless to the person.

For ensuring smooth operation in DPC the round-the-clock engineering services, division on a customer support are organized. The technology management system and schedulings provides control and managements of all engineering systems. The monitoring system of climatic parameters obtains information from a set of the sensors which are evenly distributed on server halls.

Reliability and fault tolerance of the engineering systems of data center corresponds to the third class (TIA-942). The maximum proximity of data center to the headquarters of most TV companies and points of generation and exchange of a TV content, neutral policy of work with telecom operators, plans of certification of an object for compliance to requirements of PCI DSS and ISO – all this does DPC of Ostankino attractive to media holdings, telecommunication companies, credit institutions and any participants of commodity markets and services.

The Mediadata company preparing for start the DPC to Ostankino for 1360 with firmness - places, attracted RiT Technologies company as one of strategic partners in implementation of this project.

Being guided by specifics of business of commercial data center and also by tasks and needs of future clients of DPC of Ostankino, specialists of RIT.SNG and Mediadata companies finished construct of standard server cabinets and found the most rational solution of a system of isolation of "cold" corridors. So, in order that it is the most effective to use everyone with firmness - the place with average energy consumption of 6 kW, in server halls of DPC of Ostankino server cabinets 45 units high are established. They allow to place active the equipment of different dimensions and maintain the raised static load to 1500 kg. Comfortable placement and operation of the device of any dimensions is provided thanks to a removable front door with 80% perforation.

In addition, existence of the vertical blocks of power distribution implemented based on a regular product line of RIT with connectors of C13 and C19 standard is provided in each server cabinet (36 and 6 connectors respectively) — thanks to this solution the convenience of connection of the equipment and economy of the useful place in a rack is provided.

Monitoring of temperature and climatic parameters and energy consumption is performed thanks to the sensors installed on each rack, and effective management of the cooling flow – thanks to isolation of a "cold" corridor by a modular roof and sliding doors.
