The government of the Kaliningrad region implemented means of data backup

On March 13 February, 2017 the Acronis company announced an implementation project of an end-to-end system of backup, joint with Aflex company, and disaster recovery in IT infrastructure of the Government of the Kaliningrad region.

Project Tasks

Security and reliability of our data were always especially important for us, and we realized need for the similar systems. When the number of data was rather small, we performed their backup at the level of separate archives. But over time volumes of the processed data passed for several tens terabyte therefore we made strategic decision on need of updating of IT infrastructure and creation of a full-fledged backup system. Project Progress

In 2010 the government of the Kaliningrad region made the decision on carrying out complex updating of IT infrastructure, as in terms of the equipment, and the software. The equipment was purchased, will unroll own data center, and for data protection is decided to implement software for backup and recovery. According to the results of the held competition selected a product of Acronis company - Acronis Backup Advanced.

Project Results

After completion of tender, for deployment of the solution of Acronis we needed the minimum quantity of time. We created the account in a system, downloaded products necessary for us, studied documentation and independently unrolled it. Vitaly Grigoriev
