On January 25, 2017 the Compulink group announced completion of construction of a fiber line 320 km long in the Samara region, within the state project on the elimination of digital inequality (EDI).
As a result of the performed works, communication services and broadband access to the Internet provide 17 localities of Bolsheglushitsky, Bolshechernigovsky and Bezenchuksky municipal districts.
Construction of the fiber-optic communication line included:
- laying in soil
- installation of the optical fiber cable,
- installation of steel concrete support in the geographical centers of 17 localities,
- connection of power supply,
- installation of "power cabinets" – the nodes of an optical network providing connection to trunk to the fiber-optic communication line and the electric network 220B.
At construction of the fiber-optic communication line Compulink Group used technology of horizontally directed drilling: using special installation in soil the sparing puncture allowing to save a natural landscape is performed. Such method provides cable laying of communication without superficial opening of the soil.

The complexity consisted that in the Samara region there is no uniform power supply company, in each municipal district power supply is provided by separate structure. Owing to this feature we needed to sign additional contracts with each company. As a result of this cooperation we managed to increase the level of development of information and communication technologies in 17 small cities and villages of Bolsheglushitsky, Bolshechernigovsky and Bezenchuksky municipal districts.
