On March 16, 2017 the consulting company BMP Logic (IT Group) announced project completion by description, to the analysis and improvement of operational processes of the Video business direction of MegaLabs company.

Project Progress

The BPM project was carried out to MegaLabs for the purpose of increase in operational efficiency of the company. At the first stage consultants of Logic of VRM together with team of experts of MegaLabs defined those business processes to which optimization is required first of all (processes were selected by criteria of importance for business and labor input / complexity at accomplishment).

Then using the ARIS tools models of the selected processes in their current status "were developed as is". Having analyzed basic processes by four perspectives (strategic, process, infrastructure and organizational), consultants together with experts of MegaLabs prepared offers on their optimization. Changes concerned different aspects of activity, for example, it was offered to enter additional functionality, to use additional documents as the entering information in process, to attract an additional human resource or to develop new processes and to record an operations procedure in situations in which before the preset order was not.

Offers on structure of the optimized processes were issued in the form of 25 target models of processes "as should be" from which 22 processes represented the optimized processes "as is", and 3 processes were developed "from scratch".

Project Results

The plan of transition to target processes became one more result of works. When implementing plan actions the MegaLabs command improved interaction between divisions in cross-functional processes, increased quality of planning and control of activity, synchronized plans of the different directions, increased quality of automation of separate processes, reduced risks in the development area and raised employee competences.
