On March 24, 2017 the BARS Group company and Rostelecom announced completion of works on development of "Medical Information System in the field of Health Care of the Tambov Region" service regarding implementation of information subsystem "Obstetric aid monitoring".
Project Tasks
Application of a software technology is focused on decrease in incidence of pregnant women, women in childbirth and newborns, disability of children, maternal, perinatal and child mortality.
The IT system will support observation of the patient throughout all term of pregnancy and to give information support to the obstetrician-gynecologist. For this purpose are provided in a subsystem:
- routing of the pregnant woman by order of Russian Ministry of Health No. 572n,
- automatic calculation of the plan of observation, risk degree of perinatal pathology for Radzinsky's scale,
- selection of health facilities
- other expert opportunities[1].
Project Results
With implementation of technology, in the Tambov region the three-level system of medical care in the field of obstetric aid is created - interaction is organized:
- specialists of antenatal clinics,
- perinatal centers,
- maternity hospitals
- territorial authority of management of health care.
It is expected that it will increase efficiency and quality of delivery of health care.
