The Hlynov bank reorganized service of ATMs

On April 10, 2017 the Microsoft company announced reorganization of service of ATM network of regional bank JSC CB Hlynov by means of instruments of machine learning of a cloud Microsoft Azure.

Project Tasks

Development of client network JSC CB Hlynov required other approaches to storage of money of clients and work with them. At the beginning of the project of optimization an average monthly remaining balance on cards of clients of bank ~ 800 million rubles. A third of this money are redundant in ATMs for removal by holders of cards.

Project Progress

The algorithm for use of methods of machine learning allowed bank to reduce the number of monthly departures of collection more than by 1.5 times. The Rubicon company integrator took part in creation of an algorithm.

I am sure that in the future the majority of bank processes will be controlled with the help of artificial intelligence. Services of machine learning from a cloud of Microsoft Azure are actively used in the bank industry worldwide, including, and for security of infrastructure and financial transactions. At the same time the organizations can not only develop own systems of counteraction to fraudulent transactions (anti-fraud) based on our cloud platform, but also apply the ready services created on the basis of artificial intelligence technologies. So, for example, they allow to increase the probability of identification of unauthorized access to resources using the compromised accounts. Project Results

Use of services of machine learning from a cloud of Microsoft Azure helped JSC CB Hlynov to reduce the volume of the reserved money in ATMs to 16 – 20% of an average monthly remaining balance on cards: it grew to 1.2 billion rubles, and the reserved amount was 200-230 million rubles. The released means the bank used for the solution of operational tasks, in particular, crediting of clients.
