"Egmont Rossiya" uses cloud services of LanCloud

On April 9, 2017 the LanKey company announced data migration from the European servers in LanCloud cloud in Egmont Russia company.

Project Objectives

For the purpose of reduction of a capital expenditure specialists of LanKey Group suggested to refuse completely acquisition of the server hardware and the software and to migrate all main business services in the cloud of LanCloud, having left in the company the minimum quantity of already available servers, for accomplishment of office functions.

For the purpose of decrease not only capital, but also operating expenses it was decided to rent in a cloud not virtual servers (IaaS), and to use a ready packet of SaaS-сервисов Cloud Office.

Project Progress

Specialists of LanKey Group executed data migration of the European servers in LanCloud cloud then switching of users to work with services was executed. It allowed to ensure continuous functioning of the main services, both for internal, and for remote workers, is not dependent on functioning of internal IT infrastructure Egmont.
