"The alphabet of Taste", the company of the retail sector, transferred document flow with suppliers to an electronic form. It allowed to reduce document handling time four times. As one of providers the company selected SKB Kontur".
At "The alphabet of taste" more than 1,500 suppliers from which about 400 thousand closing documents on deliveries monthly arrive. To accelerate document handling and to minimize costs, the company integrated Kontur.Edi service into the ERP system of Navision. At the expense of it it was succeeded to automate acceptance from the supplier of the closing documents as they get at once to Navision where are automatically compared with data of acceptance of network. Besides, Alphabet of Taste managed to avoid mass retraining of employees as they continue to work with EDI messages and accounting documents in the program, usual for themselves, noted in the company.
"The alphabet of taste" uses an EDI chain: ORDERS (order) — ORDRSP (the answer to order) — DESADV (shipping notification) — RECADV (the notification on acceptance) — the electronic invoice and TORG-12.
"Such chain excludes manual work at the order and gives the chance to the supplier to expose the most exact closing documents on delivery as they form on the basis of the notification on acceptance of RECADV. In most cases the closing documents which Alphabet of Taste receives from suppliers according to this scheme automatically and without discrepancies contact data of the accounting system" — Uryvskaya Lidiya, the project manager " circuit.retail " explained.
Fast document flow is profitable also to suppliers as it accelerates for them payment: as a rule, retail chain stores pay the received goods after signing of the closing documents. Besides, with electronic legally significant documents suppliers quickly receive factoring and credit financing, specified in Alphabet of Taste.
