2018: Transition to electronic certification to a FSIS "Mercury"

The Cherkizovo group in January, 2018 announced completion of transition to electronic certification of products in a system — a FSIS "Mercury". Within the project interaction with the Mercury system was provided based on EDI technology.

The pilot project was started in the middle of 2017 together with E-Com (Exite) company and, as of January 30, 2018, approaches transition to productive use. Obtaining the electronic veterinary and accompanying documents (EVSD) processed using Gateway EDI Mercury service was already tested by 4 federal retail chain stores among which there is Auchan, Tape, "OK", of X5 Retail Group.

According to Rasheed Mukharlyamov, the head of Gateway EDI Mercury service, EDI as the main method of interaction with a system for large and medium business, is the simplest for the user as is based on technology, usual for retailers. The specifics of operation of the gateway consist in enrichment of shipping notifications of DESADV numbers VSD. And the cloud nature of service allows to accelerate connection, to reduce integration cost with a FSIS "Mercury" and to save on the subsequent updates of the integration solution. The Gateway EDI Mercury service allows to automate processes and to save users from need to plunge into specifics of work with electronic veterinary documents.

High-quality implementation of such project, global for the market of the agricultural companies, as FSIS "Mercury", requires not only big internal preparation, the correct strategy when choosing technology of interaction, but also in many respects depends on the choice of the IT contractor. The integration and load tests of systems imitating real work with big data streams become a decisive factor. Emulation of a high load by means of "Gateway EDI Mercury" included more than 15,000 shipments with a design of VSD and in 3 hours was successfully undergone. And it means that shortly we will be able finally to pass to work in the productive mode — Dmitry Chubchenko, the head of strategic projects of the Cherkizovo group commented on results of the load test.

Integration of SAP ERP with the system of electronic certification "Mercury"

The IBS company became the contractor on integration of the systems of SAP of the Cherkizovo Group with the Federal state information system in the field of veterinary science "Mercury". The project became one of the first Russian cases on integration of SAP with this system. According to the results of the project the logistics chain of the Cherkizovo Group will be automated with full compliance with new statutory requirements on electronic certification.

According to federal law No. 243-FZ, since January 1, 2018 execution of veterinary certificates will be made for producers of meat products exclusively electronically using the Federal state information system in the field of veterinary science "Mercury". Each production phase of products will have to be followed by the statement and repayment of electronic certificates. The purpose of creation of a system - simplification of process of veterinary certification and quality improvement and security of animal products due to minimization of a human factor. The Russian retailers draw close attention to observance by suppliers of new statutory requirements already now.

With respect thereto before the Cherkizovo Group - the problem of operational integration of logistic processes with the Mercury system arose the Russian producer of meat products and compound feeds-. According to the strategy of Group on the choice of the key platform for conducting business processes, logistics management is exercised using a system on the SAP platform.

The project meant completion of the existing SAP ERP system and setup of integration flows. The task was complicated by the fact that the system of SAP is in continuous commercial operation, and the contractor of the project had to save its working capacity when implementing integration processes. Also, in connection with requirements of the Russian retailers for the fastest transition of suppliers to electronic certification, the project demanded the most operational accomplishment.

The project became one of the first Russian cases on integration of SAP solutions with the Mercury system through the operator of EDI. Following the results the logistics chain of the Cherkizovo Group will be completely automated from the first production phase to the shelf of shop - with observance of statutory requirements on electronic certification.

Project Results

Start of a system of SAP in operation took place on April 1, 2016. From this point the Service center IBS began the round-the-clock support of all systems of SAP of Cherkizovo: ERP BI PI, BO, MDG, DS, SM. During stabilization of a system specialists of the contractor reduced the number of incidents and addresses from 100 in day in the first months till 20-30. Service is provided in the normal mode, in addition to ensuring support requests for development and change of a system are implemented.

Deep integration of processes of the outsourcing company and the client is extremely important for successful transfer on outsourcing of business and critical IT solutions. Project Tasks

In 2015 for increase in efficiency of operational processes and transparency of business the company made the decision on system implementation on the SAP platform, having begun the project with TD "Petelinka". For support of a system after start in operation outsourcing is selected and competition on search of service provider is announced.

Main requirements of the customer:

• ensuring operability of systems and user support daily and round the clock, time of elimination of critical incidents no more than 30 minutes.
• the beginning of support of systems right after their start in operation.

Cooperation start

On April 13, 2017 the IBS company and the Cherkizovo group announced the beginning of cooperation within the project of complex outsourcing of support and development of systems and technologies of SAP on the basis of which basic processes of Cherkizovo are implemented.
