Faberlic created microservice architecture of the accounting system based on Oracle Cloud

2019: Creation of microservice architecture of the accounting system "Partner 2.0"

On February 13, 2019 the Faberlic company announced creation of microservice architecture of the accounting system of the second generation "the Partner 2.0". Implementation is caused by the growing requirements of base of consultants (for February, 2019 more than 1.2 million people) and also plans for business development. Oracle Cloud cloud became base for development.

We began to develop delivery services, payments, consultants, calculations of remunerations, issues of goods and many others. For placement practically of all critical services we selected Oracle Cloud. Why? The previous development at us was also conducted on Oracle, there are specialists, and, the main thing, there is a support from vendor. Meanwhile the speech is more about IaaS, but also the PaaS model is available to us. We already unrolled containers and began broadcast of data, services for February, 2019 are developed. We will start the first of them in July, 2019, and until the end of 2019 will pass the most critical services to microservice architecture. During 2020 the architecture will be started completely". The unrolled microservices and containers will be integrated into the main accounting system of Faberlic. In addition to microservice architecture, the company had serious scaling options of separate services and the related employees without additional costs. Besides, Faberlic will provide the high level of fault tolerance, will create conditions for performance improvement of systems and also will make work IT and business divisions of more flexible.

Within the Oracle Universal Credits model which gives access to all PaaS and Oracle IaaS-services the Faberlic company considers use of cloud services: Oracle Database Cloud Service, Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Management Cloud, Oracle Identity Cloud Service, Oracle CASB Cloud Service, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle Container Cloud Service. They can be applied both to development and testing of microservices, and for the subsequent their integration in combination with the high level of security^[1].

2017: The choice of Oracle Cloud for testing and development of the accounting system Partner

On April 13, 2017 the Russian company Faberlic selected cloud services of Oracle Cloud for testing and development of the main information accounting system of the IC "Partner".

It has the own production based on the European quality standards, equipped with the most advanced and eco-friendly equipment, automatic transfer lines on production, packing and packaging of cosmetic products. In 2003 the company entered international market and now has representations in 20 countries of the world and performs delivery to 40 countries. More than 1 million consultants cooperate with the company, about 5 million consumers use products worldwide.

The main accounting system of the IC "Partner" is initially developed on the Oracle Database platform. Having high level of confidence to technologies Oracle, the Faberlic company took cognizance of a possibility of deployment of the innovation cloud services of Oracle. Such solution will allow to expand use of Oracle DBMS and during the periods of peak loads to transfer a part them them to a cloud. Creation of a disaster-proof cloud computing architecture of industrial level is in the future planned.
