2019: The Sberservice will continue to service the HPE server hardware
The Sberservice will continue to service server the equipment of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) of Sberbank. On December 3, 2019 Sberbank reported about it.
Conditions of the three-year contract are included by ensuring continuous operability of servers and storage systems. The Sberservice will provide existence of the round-the-clock duty shift of engineers on platforms for rapid response to incidents, monitoring of working capacity, collecting of logs of errors and replacement of parts of the server hardware in case of breakdowns, accomplishment of scheduled-preventive works. At the same time, support in project implementation will be provided by vendor of HPE.
We pay special attention to continual improvement of quality of service and cost optimization that is very important for our clients. Sberbank is not an exception. It is no secret that as subsidiary company, we can be selected also without competitive procedures, but then it is very difficult to define justice of suggested price. Service covers all territorial banks of Sberbank. Under the terms of the contract the Sberservice is obliged to provide pro-active technical support which assumes prevention of the equipment, including updating of microcodes, according to the recommendations of the producer, for the purpose of prevention of incidents with operability of hardware-software complexes.
2017
Sberbank-Service attracted Technoserv for $73.2 million
On April 10, 2017 Sberbank-Service signed the general agreement with Technoserv company on technical support services of servers, storage systems and the system software of IBM.[1] by the General customer is Sberbank.
The agreement works from the moment of its signing and till June 30, 2019 inclusive. Its cost is $73.164 million (about 4.4 billion rubles). At the same time all calculations are performed in rubles at the rate of 60 rubles for 1 US dollar if the official dollar exchange rate set to the Central Bank of the Russian Federation is ranging from 50 up to 70 rubles.
All technical support is separated into several programs. It "Support of the critical systems", Pro-active support, "Round-the-clock system support" and "Standard support of the equipment". The first three programs include service 24x7, i.e. round the clock 7 days a week, including in holidays. "Standard support of the equipment" is expected the period Monday through Friday, from 9 to 18 o'clock, not including holidays.
As for restrictions of technical support, acceptance of addresses of the client according to the IBM System X and IBM Storage Systems systems is performed by specialists Sberbank Service independently. Besides, specialists of the customer will advise users of IBM System X concerning setup, administration, diagnostics of faults and carrying out recovery work. They will carry out the scheduled works determined by the producer on the IBM Storage Systems systems. Be engaged in installation of patches and firmwares for these systems there will also be the customer's employees.
Earlier Sberbank selected Sberbank-Service service provider of technical support of IBM.[2] the Cost of the agreement made $73.323 million.
Sberbank-Service was created (SBS) in 2013 with the purpose to undertake service support of the park of the bank equipment on all network of departments and branches of Sberbank. Until the end of 2016 SBS increased the competences at the expense of traveling IT bank staff, afterwards having turned into one of the largest service companies of group Sberbank with the state in 5200 people and presence in all federal districts of Russia.
As reported TAdviser in Sberbank, today Sberbank-Service has all necessary competences for implementation of complex maintenance of management tools electronic queues, devices of self-service, POS terminals, the automated jobs (AJ) and also the printing equipment.
This year the company concentrated on development of the new directions of service and also continues to increase the competences. Sberbank will pay Sberbank service of $73.3 million for support of IBM till 2019
On April 4, 2017 the tender committee of Sberbank approved purchase of technical support services of the equipment of IBM at Sberbank-Service company.[3] the Agreement will work till June 30, 2019, its cost will be $73.323 million.
2016: Sberbank decided on contractors on technical support
On July 18, 2016 it became known of selection of suppliers by Sberbank for technical support of the equipment from IBM, EMC, HP and Oracle. The contract lasting three years and, according to quotations for July, 2016, can cost ~ 17.5 billion rubles.
The tender with the starting price of contract of $330 million considered the equipment of IBM, EMC, HP and Oracle Sberbank[4].
The procedure was separated into four lots — by the number of vendors. The starting price of technical support of the equipment of IBM was specified at the level of $135 million, EMC — $85 million, Hewlett Packard Enterprise — $95 million, Oracle — $15 million.
For participation in a draw of the first lot applications were submitted by the companies I-Teco, "Technoserv", Redsis and Jet Infosystems.
In the second — Technoserv, Jet Infosystems and "OCS center".
On the third — I-Teco, Technoserv, "Komplit" and Jet Infosystems.
Joined in the fourth — Technoserv, Jet Infosystems.
As a result, on the first two lots the preferable offer of Technoserv, on the third — I-Teco, on the fourth — Jet Infosystems. They became winners.
The limit amount of the agreement on the first lot is recorded at the level of $132 million and, under the terms of the agreement, 70 its % will be paid to software supplier to Central Bank rate on a payment date, 30% — on a fixed rate 42 rubles for $1. As a result, for July 18, 2016 this lot at single payment by Sberbank costs ~ 7.5 billion rubles.
The customer sees the three-year duration of the contract the most optimal in terms of cost efficiency of purchase: at the bigger volume it is possible to receive additional discounts, suppliers show big interest in large contracts, and it helps to receive during trading reduction in cost.
In addition, the bank sets as the purpose reduction of operating expenses due to reduction of number of procurement procedures - purchases of such scale require big time expenditure, participation of a great number of employees of the bank of different skill level and competence.
The customer reserved an opportunity to change structure and level of support of the equipment for expense optimization.
