"Space communication" completed upgrade of a complex of a compression and multiplexing

On April 24, 2017 the AMT Group company announced the project of upgrade of a technology platform of the operator of satellite communication of Russian Satellite Communications Company.

Project Tasks

As a part of land infrastructure of the Russian Satellite Communications Company the technical center "Shabolovka" in Moscow and five teleports – the centers of space communication, in the territory from the Moscow region to Khabarovsk Krai. They are connected by high-speed links of communication.

In the technical center "Shabolovka" the complex of a compression of programs and multiplexing of digital traffic flows works, it provides formation of packets of federal TV and radio programs for the subsequent rise on satellites of the Russian Satellite Communications Company (including within accomplishment with the Federal target program "Development of TV and Radio Broadcasting in the Russian Federation for 2009-2018").

Project objective - to provide rendering services for the television and broadcasting companies using unified transport environment.

Project Progress

Within the project upgrade of a technology platform of the equipment of a compression and multiplexing of MPEG-2 standard in the technical center "Shabolovka" is carried out.

Specialists of the contractor should replace an obsolete equipment and to transfer to it broadcasting.

AMT GROUP:

• developed the project and work documentation,
• supplied the equipment and software,
• mounted the equipment and installation of software on an object.

Upgrade of subsystems is carried out:

• remultipleksirovaniye of external traffic flows;
• compressions of signals of TV of programs of standard permission (SD);
• formations of traffic flows with programs of standard permission (SD);
• management and control.

Remote control of operation modes of the equipment of a compression and multiplexing is provided.

Project Results

The project solution provides full redundancy of components of a system. The installed equipment is connected to the operating management system and control. Connection and setup are executed without breaks and failures.
