Lazada Group implemented technology of protection against DDoS attacks

On May 11, 2017 the Qrator Labs company announced the service provision agreement of ensuring availability of Internet resources when shopping by clients during the global sales with Lazada.

Project Tasks

Especially for Lazada Qrator Labs developed technology for support of availability of Internet resources during the peak periods of activity. The used solution helped to create reliable protection of the Lazada platform against potential external invasions (the hacker attacks).

Lazada selected Qrator Labs as the technology partner for the solution of a problem of ensuring continuous availability of Internet resources, thanks to the solution on counteraction to DDoS attacks. The solution created by Qrator Labs for Lazada acts on the basis of data analysis, Qrator.Radar which are brought together by service of global monitoring of the Internet.

Project Progress

Especially for this Qrator Labs project opened a node of transfer of traffic in Singapore for ensuring additional connectivity in the southeast region. The combined solution on the platform of a global cloud Qrator and a node of cleaning which is built in the customer's infrastructure is so developed. As the company provider of service stated, the network of traffic filtering intended for Lazada can cope with DDoS attack of almost any speed now.

Project Results

Thanks to strong scientific training of staff of Qrator Labs and the experience accumulated within 10 years of researches and work with clients we could make necessary mathematical calculations and create reliable infrastructure for Lazada. The solution helped the company to manage traffic and to provide to clients of a condition for purchases trouble-free in work of service. Lazada – our first and biggest customer in the region.
