Release of library of 3D models

The Schneider Electric company, the world expert in management of energy and automation, provided library of professional 3D models for Merten D-Life — series of the electroinstallation products Schneider Electric.

Use of library models allows to save time and forces at design of interiors, to quickly pick up an optimal solution in Autodesk 3ds Max — full-function professional program system for creation and editing three-dimensional graphics.

The library of models for 3ds Max is characterized by the optimized geometry, lack of external textures and simplicity of modular assembly. That at full save of appearance of model did not "make heavier" the general scene, all "excess" elements of mechanisms which are not visible on final visualization are removed.

For comfortable work of the designer all textures are executed based on standard materials 3ds Max + by Corona Renderer, and the option for VRay Renderer therefore there is no need to load and store additional files will be prepared in the nearest future. As all models have correctly marked anchor points, it is possible to assemble precisely a necessary set of mechanisms in a framework, using standard anchors 3ds Max.

The library includes all types of the products D-Life executed with an accuracy of millimeter and the preconfigured materials. They are intuitive, and they can be imported to the project easily. Models have correctly marked anchor points and completely configured materials and geometry thanks to what it is not necessary to adjust every time these parameters.

Work is also simplified by the optimized internal names of models and materials. In them intuitive schemes with letter symbols, for example, of "F" (Frame is a frame), "G" (Glass is the glass), "M" are used (Metal is metal).

In addition to the main library packets ready 2D - the blocks used on development at execution of projects in the environment of Autodesk AutoCAD and Graphisoft ArchiCAD are developed. In both cases modules are broken into a framework and mechanisms, taken out in the separate file for the subsequent import to the project.

On May 15, 2017 the Schneider Electric company provided a line of Merten D-Life switches.

The device allows to be connected by means of Bluetooth and to configure work through the Wiser Room application available in AppStore and Google Play.

Merten D-Life switches support the PlusLink function for creation of the simplest management systems for lighting and blinds. For premium solutions in the Merten D-Life series the Multitouch and Push-button KNX switches connected to the protocol of the smart home of KNX are created. Together with the smart meters connected by blinds, conditioning systems and heating, these solutions create a uniform ecosystem with an ability to manage from the smartphone or the tablet and the minimum costs for implementation.
