The Borlas group in May, 2017 announced creation of the information management system by the enterprise for the Russian developer and the supplier of high-precision arms of sea and aviation basing "GNPP the Region". On the 1C: ERP Enterprise Management 2 platform the following functional areas were automated: operational (production) accounting, supply, accounting and tax accounting, treasury, management accounting. In total more than 100 jobs are automated.
Prerequisites
The management system of GNPP "Region" represented several local solutions earlier. Many transactions concerning, for example, registration and data transmission were performed by users manually. There were problems with efficiency of providing information.
Aspiration of the management of the enterprise to business process optimization and more effective control of resources of the enterprise and also review of earlier applied techniques of work of divisions and support of a course towards import substitution, led to the solution to centralize all data of the company in one system of domestic vendor.
The base for such system selected the 1C: ERP Enterprise Management 2 platform.
Project Objectives
Complex automation of jobs for end users became project objectives on implementation of ISUP in GNPP "Region".
The following functional areas became automation objects:
- document flow (ECM);
- purchases (supply) and vendor relationship management;
- sales management, logistics and transport;
- managerial and financial (accounting, tax) accounting;
- data analysis and forecasting.
Besides, it was necessary to provide integration of ISUP into third-party automation systems and data transfer from them.
Implementation Progress
The project on implementation of a corporate system of management on GNPP "Region" began with development of methodological documents and technical specifications. At the first this stage requirements of the customer to KSU were collected, necessary consultations are held, the job schedule is made. Along with it the customer upgraded IT infrastructure due to updating of the server and DWH for system deployment. Within 5 months design and development were conducted.
Then specialists of Borlas together with employees GNPP "Region" carried out implementation and trial operation. In a work progress creation of interfaces and sets of user rights was carried out, specific features of accounting and management in the automation system are technically implemented, ISUP is integrated with third-party automation systems (including, with systems on the SAP platform, the systems of the corporate reporting and the system of the centralized maintaining NSI of Tactical Missile Armament corporation), setup decisions to start accounting and numerous point completions are passed.
The scheme of regulation of expenses in a cost accounting share for providing the state defense order (SDO) was separately worked out; features of cost accounting on a cost accounting subsystem for needs of accomplishment of GOZ are considered, separate mechanisms on planning of write-off of accounting of inventory items and creation of "The scheme of cooperation on accomplishment of GOZ" are implemented.
Consultants of Borlas trained the customer's employees at a final stage in work in a system.

Project Results
Creation of the information management system of "1C:ERP Region" allowed to replace fully outdated separate IT systems and to automate key business processes. As a result of GNPP "Region" received a uniform guidance loop the enterprise which covers most services and departments of the enterprise. Over 100 jobs underwent automation (more than 70 users work in the daily mode).
Practice of the customer showed that implementation of ISUP allowed the enterprise to receive end-to-end analytics — from the Customer order block to the most bottom levels of primary documents. It led to more operational internal document flow, fast bringing necessary information to the addressee and, respectively, to reduction of time for acceptance of management decisions.
Effects of the implementing solution "1C: ERP Enterprise Management 2":
- In the field of budgeting and treasury: from manual data recording about the facts on budgets and about the planned payments the customer passed to automatic collecting and data transmission into a corporate system.
- In the field of purchase management: earlier users in paper form transferred requests of data, and the staff of service of supply consolidated data retrieveds, information on the status of purchase was also requested from managers of service. Now users register the need for Inventories and services in a system, and a system provides information on the status of purchase.
- In the field of sales management and management of a warehouse: the efficiency of providing to heads of information on an order portfolio (the status of execution, a status of calculations, etc.) and stock balance increased, heads have an opportunity to receive data online.
In the project progress all effective objectives were achieved. In the response about the implemented project the customer positively characterized results of cooperation with the Borlas group and highly appreciated compliance of the solution to requirements of the organization, convenience of work with the program.
