Reports4Qlik

The BI Partner company (I-Teco Group) began in May, 2017 deliveries through partners of the solution for formation of the procedural reporting of Reports4Qlik.

The program component developed by forces BI Partner allows to build in functionality of the systems of the procedural reporting BI-applications of QlikView and Qlik Sense. Being an alternative to the "original" module, Reports4Qlik is positioned as an optimal solution for the companies of medium and small business – a segment where the platform from Qlik is traditionally strong.

Now Reports4Qlik is used in a number of projects on creation of the systems of a business intelligence for customers of BI Partner. For example, the large car maker implements the solution for monitoring of data on the warranty repairs made by dealers of the brand which requires a combination of functions of interactive analytics and formation of multipage reports. Therefore for the analysis and a research of information Qlik Sense, and is applied to report generation about warranty compensations – Reports4Qlik integrated with it.

From the point of view of the user the solution Reports4Qlik looks as the single system including development tools of report forms, the server of the reporting and components for a call of reports from applications of Qlik.

Document templates are created in the web application using standard the technician of visual design. Several tens of types of representations, including tables and crosstables, charts and diagrams, barcodes and zip codes, images and indicators which can be placed freely on the document are available to the developer.

The reporting server as a principal component of the module implemented in the form of web service is responsible for updating and automatic mailing of documents. Functions of formation of the schedule of report execution and a subscription for documents are available to users via the portal. Documents can remain in the form of HTML pages, the PDF documents, spreadsheets of Excel.

Reports4Qlik allows to embed in applications of Qlik interactive components for start of the procedure of report execution. When updating documents the current context is considered: in a request the same parameters and filters, as in the QlikView or Qlik Sense analytical application are used. Obtaining the report connected with the application or report groups is performed in one "click".

"Developed on QlikView or Qlik Sense of the application allow to achieve almost full compliance to idea of users of how ideal infopanel should look and work. It manages to achieve due to the unique architecture put in Qlik, unfortunately, not really suitable for formation of procedural reports. Development of BI Partner is intended to solve gracefully this problem due to use of the separate server of the reporting", – Tsurukalov Sergey, the head of practice of the BI systems of BI Partner company explains.

The expansion unit of Report4Qlik allows customers to be limited to one BI platform for the solution of two tasks connected with analytical information processing at once: interactive information analysis and different formation of the procedural reporting with its mailing.
