VTB started acquiring service in Eldorado

On November 13, 2018 the company reported to VTB that it implemented acquiring service in Eldorado across all territory of Russia.

According to the company, are available to clients including contactless payment methods, including systems Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay. In addition to outlets, the bank provides acceptance of cards on the official site of Eldorado. For payment are accepted maps both international payment systems, and cards "World".

On May 18, 2017 the Xerox company announced conclusion of an agreement with Eldorado network about delivery of services of outsourcing of printing.

Project Tasks

The park of the printing equipment of Eldorado is provided to 7.5 thousand devices operating in more than 200 cities of Russia. The amount of document flow of retail network ~ 12 million prints a month. For reducing costs for providing printing in the company the decision on transition to outsourcing of printing infrastructure was made (MPS, Managed Print Services). At the same time the retail network was going to refuse refilling a toner cartridges for quality improvement of documents.

Advertizing of Eldorado, (2017)

Selecting service provider of MPS, the IT department of Eldorado held the tender for service and optimization of the park of the printing equipment. Under the terms of the tender, it was required to provide centralized operation with infrastructure and to achieve cost reduction.

Specialists of Xerox analyzed infrastructure of printing of Eldorado and the companies using the pokopiyny scheme of payment proposed solving of tasks.

Project Progress

At a stage of a pilot project the service provider optimized the operative equipment of printing on several platforms and lowered costs.

In March, 2017 scaling of services of MPS on printing infrastructure of Eldorado is carried out. This event became the beginning of project implementation. Activity on optimization of the printing equipment and cost reduction extended to all divisions of retail network.

The customer began to receive monthly the consolidated statements about the number of devices, printing amount, the extent of costs and other performance indicators of work of infrastructure.

The most part of the printers and MFP installed in Eldorado at the time of service implementation is not connected to network. When updating the park in the company network printers and the MFP will be installed that will allow to pass to remote condition monitoring of devices in real time.

Project Results

Now we just pay for a print, and Xerox undertakes all efforts on service of the equipment and building of effective office infrastructure. But it yet not the main thing. Unlike some other suppliers the Xerox company not only offered us a standard set of services, but also showed readiness to use tools in process of change of our requirements.
