Huawei eLTE SafeCity

eLTE SafeCity is a system on the basis of eLTE technology. It is focused on use in life support systems and safety of people, property, when holding mass actions and in emergencies.

On May 23, 2017 the Huawei company presented the complete solution eLTE SafeCity which integrated a broadband trunking of eLTE, information supplements, video service in mobile option, wireless data transmission and auxiliary applications.

As a part of eLTE SafeCity four basic functions, jointly they provide users with complex services:

• telephony services,
• video services,
• data services
• services of geographic information systems (GIS)^[1].

In borders of one network the product performs functions of observation, management and scheduling. The solution allows consolidation of the existing resources of services and integration of different types of networks of communication:

• public and private,
• broadband and narrow-band,
• wire and wireless.

Acting on the basis of technologies 4G/4.5G, the product helps to process calls of group of a voice trunking with a delay within 300 ms and a delay of priority interruption of group less than 150 ms.

The solution eLTE with open API interfaces provides interrelation with other platforms, simplifying creation of E2E of complete team solution using video. The numerous applications of bodies of protection of law and order installed on each terminal of trunking communication can be connected to the central cloud database, it increases effective management of processes and procedures, recognitions of the personality and providing security measures on an object. The standard module of wireless communication eLTE Mini PCIE is compatible to the terminals made by industry partners of Huawei company, including Aircam UAV, the automobile Hikvision IP camera and the dome Hikvision television camera. All this means that the solution provides interactive mobile video surveillance: the fixed subscriber equipment accepts and transfers video signal from cameras, and together they form universal network of surveillance cameras for the city authorities.

The broadband trunking was recognized the industry as a right way of informatization and digital transformation in the field of maintenance of public order. Its applications are available and commercially are implemented in wide scales. By the end of the first quarter 2017 the broadband trunking of eLTE was implemented in more than on 150 networks to 57 countries.
