VM Backup and Recovery is technology of use of clouds for backup and data recovery after accidents.
On May 23, 2017 the Commvault company announced release of the fact-finding version of the VM Backup and Recovery software product.
According to the statement of the company, software provides considerable functionality and integration for backup of virtual machines: more than 20 storage systems of different vendors, more than 10 hypervisors and more than 40 cloud platforms are supported.
The product helps to unroll, protect and optimize virtual machines during their lifecycle, to transfer data to a public cloud, including AWS, Microsoft Azure and VMware. In process of growth of business needs more 100th terabyte is scaled.
