"SOMIATs" creates a uniform information environment for health facilities of area

On May 24, 2017 the BARS GROUP company announced the contract for development, completion and replication of a regional fragment of the Single State Information System of Health Care (SSISHC) within which 39 health facilities of the Sakhalin region until the end of 2017 will be connected to a single system. The project is implemented on the basis of development "BARS. Health care – MIS".

Project Tasks

The contractor signed the contract with Medical information and analytical center for the amount of 73.5 million rubles. A project objective – automation of delivery of health care to areas, increase in control over quality of medical and diagnostic processes, decrease in load of medical personnel, increase in availability of medical services to residents of the area^[1].

A system will be useful to all participants of process: such opportunities as Uniform electronic registry will be available to patients; doctors will have an opportunity directly from the workplace to write patients on consultations and hospitalization in other organizations of the region. Implementation of functionality of Onkoprofilaktik will become one of features of a system that will allow to create the population cancer register and finally to save human lives due to early detection of oncological diseases. In 2016 BARS GROUP completed a pilot project of the medical information system (MIS). As the "pilot" medical organizations the consulting and diagnostic center and city clinic No. 7 of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and Korsakoff's central district hospital are selected. Modules Registry, Clinic, Accident ward, Day Hospital, Diagnostics, Drugstore, "Disability Leaf" are implemented.

Medical and diagnostic processes of organizations are united in unified information environment.
