Industrial Ethernet-modems are Wolverine DDW-120.
For May 23, 2017 Westermo Ethernet-modems are created on the basis of SHDSL technology, they help to reuse many types of the used copper cables that allows to save means at installation of cable systems.
Ethernet-networks for data transmission on distances to 15 km with speeds up to 15.3 Mbps on the twisted pair cable allow to organize Westermo Wolverine DDW-120. The Westermo Wolverine DDW-120 configuration is executed by means of DIP switches.
Are held for use Westermo Wolverine DDW-120 in the conditions of industrial production. Broad range of power, complex diagnostics and TBU protection against transition processes do it ideal for installation of monitoring in the industry. In production Westermo Wolverine DDW-120 only industrial components - mean time between failures of 1 million 180 thousand hours are used. Device environment temperature from - 40C to +70C (from-40 to +158 F °).
Wolverine DDW-120 modems are transparent for group addressing and packets of VLAN, VPN in the pass-through mode for IPsec is supported, can work with the MODBUS/TCP and Profinet IO protocols. Diagnostics of the line can be executed using a simple plug-in for diagnostics of a cable that allows the user to define quality of the line.
There is a version of the modem for application in explosive environments - Westermo Wolverine DDW-120 EX.
