MorphoAccess VP is the two-factor terminal of biometric access control on prints and the drawing of veins of fingers.
On May 22, 2017 the Morpho Safran company provided MorphoAccess VP.
The algorithms of identification of biometric data used as a part of a HSS allow to exclude the data reading errors connected with pollution and microinjuries of skin on finger-tips, to reduce failure probability in access. MorphoAccess VP terminals have a DB expected storage of templates up to 5 thousand users which can extend up to 10 thousand[1].
MorphoAccess VP is provided by two modifications - Bio and Dual (with or without MIFARE/DESFire access card reader). Via the Bio terminal exclusively biometric access control can be executed, and Dual allows to carry out more difficult authentication mode with use and RFID technologies, and biometrics. At the same time any biometric terminal of this series has USB port and can be connected to the equipment of a control system of access via the Ethernet, Wiegand, Dataclock and RS-485 interfaces, and via the relay to manage work of an electrical lock or tourniquet.
