Central Interregional Transport Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation

The Central Interregional Investigation Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation (Central LSG for Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia) is a specialized investigative body of the Investigative Committee of Russia whose competence includes the investigation of crimes in the field of water, air and railway transport, as well as in the customs sphere in the Volga and Ural transport districts.

2021: Reorganisation and renaming

By order of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation of April 29, 2021 No. 62^[1], the Volga Investigation Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation was reorganized in the form of joining the Ural Investigation Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

The Volga Investigation Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has been renamed the Central Interregional Investigation Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
