The ATK consulting group completed process automation of personnel management and payroll calculation based on Microsoft Dynamics AX in the Russian representative office of Aviva, one of the largest insurance companies in the world.
The company specializes in life insurance. Its offices work in 7 cities of Russia. To support fast growth rates, in the company full-time work on selection and personnel development is conducted. For support of work of department of personnel management it was decided to use functionality of ERP- of a system.
Within the project it was decided to implement the module "Settlings with Personnel" allowing to solve problems of personnel and time keeping and settlings with personnel according to requirements of the Russian legislation and also the module "Personnel management".
The project was begun in October, 2007, and in January, 2008 a system was brought into operation. Works on further development of a system – development of the analytical reporting and additional functionality for convenience of work of users were at the same time continued.
Personnel and time keeping, payroll calculation and also business processes on personnel management, including recruitment, acceptance of the employee for work and passing of a probation period, support of motivational schemes, formation and accounting of development plans for employees, training of employees, registration of absence were as a result completely automated.
By the customer's estimates, automation of routine work allowed to reduce significantly time expenditure and to reduce quantity of errors. Process of collecting of statistical data and reporting for their analysis became simpler (for example, on the saved-up data it is possible to judge efficiency of work with media and recruitment agencies). There was a function of placement of vacancies in external sources (media, recruitment agencies, job fairs) with indication of placement cost, there was available an automatic formation of offers of the company for candidates. Besides, the circle of the employees of the company who had an opportunity to work directly with the data interesting them extended.
