Content

On May 29, 2017 CORUS Consulting Group announced the project of connection and setup of a cloud service of KORUS in TD "Intertorg".

Project Tasks

Earlier processes of the order of goods by customer company were decentralized, planning and calculation of purchasing amount were made "manually", on the basis of statistical data of previous periods. With growth of retail chain stores former approach to inventory management was inefficient and resulted in surplus of stocks of some goods and deficit of others, decrease in level of turnover of goods in a warehouse, to growth of losses and as result, to reduction of profit of the retailer. The approach providing reduction of the errors connected with purchases and providing stocks was required.

In an analysis result of IT solutions, the company management stopped the choice on a cloud service of KORUS|Inventory management.

Project Progress

Transition to the centralized inventory management model for large retail chain stores demanded additional setup of service to the specific processes of the retailer connected with parameters:

  • maximum and minimum limits of stocks,
  • diagrams and multiplicity of deliveries,
  • seasonality coefficients,
  • not reduced remaining balance,
  • safety stocks,
  • bans and actions.

For convenience of work of users special interfaces for shops, accounts and the access levels, a uniform algorithm of formation of supplier orders are configured.

Project Results

The retailer got access to tools for the analysis and purchase planning, a possibility of centralization of process of management of stocks according to the SaaS model.

It is important for us that the new solution allowed to implement the strategy of centralization of purchase management. Service completely covers our needs for optimization of purchases and planning of stocks at the moment. Besides, developer — Corus Consulting is our old partner who approaches each project with all responsibility and professionalism therefore we were from the very beginning sure of high return from use of service.

Upon completion of the project in TD 'Intertorg' we got experience which allowed us to understand problems of network retail. Besides the problem of fault tolerance in the conditions of tight temporary restrictions was successfully solved. Behind our back experience of automation of warehouse logistics of the large trading companies, implementations of ERP systems, but now we can speak with confidence and about solving of tasks on inventory management.

Project Development

On August 15, 2017 CORUS Consulting Group announced implementation in TD "Intertorg" of technology for culinary production on the 1C: Retail platform.

Part of shops of network has departments of production of culinary products. In other outlets the finished goods are delivered from separately located culinary workshops. All production processes are automated on the basis of "1C: Management of restaurant" - in the main accounting system of retail chain stores was not required functionality.

For process optimization and reducing costs for support of two information systems, the management of retail chain stores made the decision on need of development based on "1C: Retail" of the specialized solution. The partner of retailer became Corus Consulting.

In four months the command of Corus Consulting developed and implemented the full-function Cookery block on the platform of the solution "1C: Retail" within which are automated:

  • maintaining compoundings,
  • finished product output,
  • inventory,
  • acceptance and movement of goods,
  • raw materials accounting.

Tools are in addition created:

  • maintaining templates of raw materials,
  • accounting of spices,
  • formations of cost value of dishes
  • accounting.

From system performance, speed and the accuracy of data exchange in large retail network a lot of things depend. Implementation of the module of production of culinary products in the main accounting system of our company allowed to unify cost accounting thus having reduced a closing time of a settlement period and also to increase data processing rate, and that is important, to reduce expenses on maintenance of information systems.
