2025: Purchase of "Fartel"

Petersburg-based Skynet LLC (SkyNet) has acquired the competing Internet provider Fartel, which provides an Internet connection in the south of the Leningrad region. This was announced in August 2025 by the co-owner of SkyNet Andrei Shpeder. According to him, the company has absorbed the regional provider as part of its own investment program in the region, the financing of which is several billion rubles. The provider's tariff plans provide for connecting households at speeds from 50 Mbps to 200 Mbps.

According to our calculations, the wireless channel 10 Gigabit Ethernet will allow SkyNet to serve more than 5 thousand households at top tariffs, where Internet speeds of 200 Mbps and TV packages in HD quality are provided. I want to note the stability of the radio bridge PPC-10G to weather conditions, - we did not notice a deterioration in the channel capacity during precipitation in the form of snow or in rainy weather. "
