For the Oryol region the project for development of transport and telematic infrastructure is announced

Rostec and the government of the Oryol region signed in June, 2017 the agreement on cooperation in the field of development of transport and telematic infrastructure, complex intelligent transport systems and also quality improvement, availability and security of public highways of regional and intermunicipal value of the Oryol region. From Rostec the agreement was signed by the CEO of State corporation Sergey Chemezov, from area – the Prime Minister of the Oryol region Vadim Potomsky.

Cooperation of the parties assumes participation in implementation of investment projects on creation and development of "Intelligent transport system" (ITS). Work will be conducted in two main directions. The first consists in creation and ensuring functioning of a system of weight and dimensional control (SVGK) of vehicles on public highways of regional and intermunicipal value. The second will be directed to creation and ensuring functioning of the systems of photo and video fixing of traffic offenses and video surveillance.

ITS, along with add-on modules, are components of the ecosystem project "Smart City" - one of key projects of Rostec in a civil segment. Separate components of ITS are already implemented in a number of regions of Russia, and continue to develop. So, within the conference which took place on May 24-26, 2017 the Digital Industry of Industrial Russia (DIIR) the holding company of Rostec ─ Ruselectronics ─ provided the intellectual and customs Discretion complex which allows to classify the transported materials, to control the lump of a load and its separate parts with a margin error no more than 10% with a speed up to 70 km/h.

"For development of transport and telematic infrastructure of the Oryol region we will implement whole is glad the Russian innovative developments in the field of intelligent transport systems, the systems of weight and dimensional control and lighting", – the CEO of State Corporation Rostec Sergey Chemezov said. "Also we will promote attraction of the off-budget investments, and are ready to provide start of systems in operation and a payment receipt in the regional budget".

RT-Integration LLC and Department of construction, fuel and energy complex, housing and communal services, transport and road economy of the Oryol region will become the contractors implementing the Project.

The agreement of Rostec and the Oryol region is one more step to execution of orders of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin according to the results of a meeting of presidium of the State Council of the Russian Federation concerning improvement of network of highways (No. Pr-2651GS of item 1.2a of 11/12/2014) and the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Arkady Dvorkovich (No. 5741p-P9 of 9/2/2015) directed to prevention of violations by the vehicles transporting large-size and (or) heavy loads at movement along public highways.
