JSC Caspian Plant of Sheet Glass – one of the enterprises for production of sheet glass by float-method in the south of Russia. It is the hi-tech plant in the territory of the CIS countries, the Caucasian and Caspian region. The enterprise produces 600 tons of the high-branded sheet polished glass a day under the Caspian Crystal Clear trademark. Products of the plant are delivered practically across all territory of Russia and also for export to Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
History
2014 - 2015
In 2014 the plant implemented 107 thousand tons of sheet glass.
In a year the customer base numbering about 200 partners was created.
In one and a half years from January, 2014 to July, 2015 the geography of sales of KZLS extended from borders of the Republic of Dagestan to the Transbaikal region of Russia. For today products of the plant are delivered practically across all territory of Russia and also for export to Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
From June 08 to June 11, 2015 JSC Caspian Plant of Sheet Glass participated in the 17th international exhibition "World of Glass-2015" which was taking place in Moscow in TsVK "Expocentre".
2013
On October 30, 2013 in a festive atmosphere start of the plant took place.
On November 28, 2013 the first tape of glass was extended.
Since December, 2013 the plant produces the sheet polished glass of quality of M1 and M0 under the Caspian Crystal Clear trademark.
2011
The actual construction of the plant began since January, 2011. The team of professionals headed by the general director Jeremy Martin Tyndall started implementation of the first investment project for the last 20 years.
The following partners took part in construction of the plant: Palmira Group; (Turkey) – gen. contractor of construction; HORN Glass Industries AG (Germany); Indotherm Furnaces & Engineers (India); Italcarrelli (Italy); Premium Engineering; SCHITTKOWSKIARCHITEKTEN; Stewart Engineers (USA); VanBetra Projekt GmbH (Belgium); JSC STEKLOAVTOMATIKA (Russia); and also - Kvorum consulting group (Russia).
2010
On September 30, 2010 according to the results of a meeting of the Supervisory board of Vnesheconombank, its Chairman Vladimir Dmitriyev reported that the Development bank (Vnesheconombank) invests more than 7 billion rubles in construction of the plant on production of sheet glass in Dagestan (MOSKVA, 30 Sep. - RIA Novosti).
2008: Creation of the company
For the first time the project of construction of the Caspian plant of sheet glass was read at the VII International investment forum in the city of Sochi in September, 2008. Within exposure of the Republic of Dagestan at a forum the project was submitted to Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and got his approval.
Within 2 years the project was in details studied, risks were estimated. The word was told also by crisis of 2008 - 2009 which provoked more careful project evaluation and increased approval terms.
