PJSC Moscow City Telephone Network deployed on the network the complete solution for collecting, processing and the analysis of network data from Ericsson. It allows the operator to reveal proactively potential failures of the system and also errors of the software and the equipment and to prevent the critical situations affecting communication quality at clients.
The software is set on all routers of Ericsson Smart Services Routers (SSR) via which clients of MGTS go on-line. Thanks to this solution engineers of Ericsson in real time collect and analyze data arriving from routers and control machine output. On the basis of data retrieveds experts proactively eliminate the revealed errors of communication hubs and the software that finally increases quality of Internet connection at users.
According to the results of semi-annual testing more than a half of potential problems were detected in 2-3 days before could lead to an incident on network. The quantity of crucial errors in general was reduced by a third, failure handling time in network functioning — on a quarter.
