BINO is service for completely independent project management by "secret buyer" method in offline retail. The startup is based in the USA in March, 2016 by Sergey Zverev and several more partners.

The BINO service works on Uber model and represents the online platform allowing the companies to interact directly with mystery shopping to measure client experience in the automatic mode and to control accomplishment of the quality standards. Enrollment and training of shoppers, payment of their work and coordination of tasks are completely automated. The quality control system of BINO will recognize the files loaded by the shopper, checks correctness and compliance of the entered data (such as address of a location and time of check) and also quality of an audio recording.

Direct, passing the agencies, interaction with mystery shopping, the intelligent system of quality control, operational accomplishment of checks, timely correction of tasks and questionnaires, the evident reports allowing to estimate online network condition in general or separate locations and other opportunities allow not only to reduce significantly the budget by checks, but also to increase efficiency of activity of network due to timely reaction and data processing.

At the first stage of implementation service will become available to the companies working in spheres product and fashion-retail, public catering (cafe and restaurants) in the industry of sport, beauty and health, in bank and insurance sectors and also to movie theaters, bookstores, furniture and construction companies.

"The services working on models of Uber and a marketplace completely change features of business, rebuild economy, destroy and at the same time create new jobs, – the technical director of BINO CX Sergey Zverev says. – At start of BINO we followed the following rule: if the business model works manually and brings money, then it is possible to automate and receive it rapid growth. So we also arrived – separated processes of the classical agency of mystery shopping into microprocedures. Each of them was automated and wrote "sheaves" for processes. So the software product which is not demanding participation of the person in project management "the secret buyer" turned out.

2017

Service of checks of retail networks in Russia

In June, 2017 in Russia official start of service for independent project management by "secret buyer" method – BINO took place.

"The decision on start of a product in the USA was caused by the fact that exactly here quality control of service using mystery shopping is especially demanded and popular, – the technical director of BINO CX Zverev Sergey tells. – According to MSPA (Mystery Shopping Providers Association), the size of the market of these services in North America is 1.5 billion dollars, i.e. nearly a third global (about 4 billion dollars). The volume of the Russian market is much less – 50-100 million dollars. For the last few years it was left by several large and average players, and among customers there are more and more state companies. But we see potential in this sphere, mystery shopping – the most effective tool for obtaining structured data about accomplishment of standards of sales. In comparison with other tools having a number of shortcomings it shows what really happens in the most important part of business – contact points of sellers and clients. Reports of directors and managing directors by which back offices of trading or service companies, as a rule, are guided are subjective, real buyers give a feedback only in 6% of cases, and surveillance cameras do not transfer all data on consumer experience. Therefore we decided to offer business a modern and convenient product".

Investments and start

In December, 2016 the company underwent selection in Starta Accelerator, having received investments in the amount of 130 thousand dollars, and in May, 2017 began work.

In June, 2017 the startup closes a sowing investment round for 650 thousand dollars from which 450 thousand dollars will enclose Starta Capital venture fund and private investors from Russia. Search of the investor for 200 thousand dollars continues. At the beginning of 2018 expansion of BINO service in Asia and in the Middle East is planned.
