Clients of Promsvyazbank can pay the bill on the photo

In June, 2017 Promsvyazbank started service for users of PSB-online Internet bank. Clients of small and medium business can automatically create payment orders from photos and scans of accounts, without spending time for a reprint of long details. The service will become available in a personal account of Internet bank within June.

To use new service, the user needs to enter a personal account of "PSB-online" on the website and to load the photo of the account. A system will automatically recognize, will take from the document and will fill up to 17 fields, including a payment amount, the check point of the payer, a TIN of the receiver, a BIC, the RCATU code, etc. Also for convenience of the user both the scan of the account, and the completed payment order is output to one screen in Internet bank. The client needs to verify only details and to sign the payment document.

For exact and fast recognition Promsvyazbank uses technologies of ABBYY company – developer of solutions in the field of intellectual information processing. Using ABBYY FineReader Engine a system processes previously low-quality images. It corrects distortions and noise that increases quality of recognition. Then ABBYY FlexiCapture takes data from the document and enters them to the necessary fields of a form in a personal account. Now service processes information in 7 widespread formats: BMP, PNG, JPEG, JPEG 2000, JPG, TIFF and PDF. The project was implemented by the Russian IT company IGS – specialized integrator in the field of corporate management by content.
